CU Anschutz Biobank Information

The Dean's Research Advisory Committee (RAC) is seeking information about human specimen biobanks on the Anschutz Medical Campus, to increase multidisciplinary collaborations and elevate research capacity. We wish to identify the needs of the campus community to better shepherd these precious resources, and potentially improve existing biobanks. Specific goals of this survey include, but are not limited to: • Software database assistance • Improving existing and/or additional freezer space • Improving linking specimens with clinical data Definition: A human specimen biobank contains samples or biological materials (e.g. fresh-frozen and FFPE tissues, DNA/RNA, serum, stool samples, etc.) that are collected as part of a medical procedure, clinical trial, or research protocol. If you have a human specimen biobank, please answer a few questions. Thank you for your time.
