The FA National Youth Council recognises that there are so many Youth Leaders doing amazing work in their community but believe there is more to do as far as highlighting and celebrating this work. This Youth Leadership Team Award aims to ensure that the work of Youth Leaders is visible, understood and celebrated.

The award will be presented at the FALA Graduation Ceremony to a team that has demonstrated exceptional teamwork, leadership, and impact within their community, inspiring positive change and championing the voice of young people through football. The event will take place on Tuesday 29th July 2025, as part of The FA Leadership Academy residential event.

Criteria:

• A group of youth leaders (minimum 3 active youth leaders) who are part of a County FA, FANYC partner organisation (e.g. BUCS, AOC Sport) or a Youth Committee within a club and/or league.

• The group must be able to demonstrate how they have made a positive impact within their community during the current season.

• The group must demonstrate that they have developed collaboration skills by consistently working as a team to problem solve and devise new ideas to support youth leadership.

The deadline for nominations is Thursday 5th June at 17:00.
