The AFRL-RI (Information Directorate), Samsung, and the TAK Product Center along with the Griffiss Institute are organizing a multi-day TAKathon focused on the complex communication and coordination needs of Public Safety. The Team Awareness Kit (TAK) is a cost-effective, government off-the-shelf solution developed by the Department of Defense to enable tactical data to be generated, visualized, and shared, facilitating communication across multiple users to achieve shared tactical awareness.

The 2023 TAKathon will feature panel talks by industry leaders and peers and an open invitation to the 2023 TAKathon coding challenge for Public Safety applications.
