Statement Of Interest Form
The Pulse Research Fellowship is open to researchers based anywhere in the world who use state-of-the-art and/or novel Internet measurement techniques to conduct research on a specific area that contributes to upholding an open, globally-connected, secure, and trustworthy Internet.
Duration
The duration of the fellowship is approximately six months. Applicants must be available for six months during 2024; the start date will be agreed upon upon final selection
Location
The selected candidate can work remotely from anywhere in the world.
Selection Criteria
Applicants will be selected according to their:
- Proposal’s relevance to Internet resilience, Internet shutdowns, enabling technologies, or market concentration
- Knowledge of the field of Internet measurements and experience necessary to accomplish the proposed research goals.
- Ability to commit at least 25 hours per week to the fellowship.
Process
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit detailed information about their proposal during the final phase of the application. Applicants will then have four weeks to submit the detailed application form. The shortlisted candidates will be notified by 20th December 2023 .
