Working from home request

EveryMan's flexible working arrangements

We aim to create a family friendly workplace and support flexible work practices, to help staff balance work with the demands of family lives and personal circumstances.


As part of the National Employment Standards certain employees have the right to request flexible working arrangements. If you:

  • have worked here for 12 months
  • are a parent, or responsible for care of a school-aged or younger child, or a child under 18 who has a disability.
  • are a carer (Carer Recognition Act 2010)
  • have a disability or medical condition
  • are 55 or older
  • are experiencing family or domestic violence, or provide care or support to a member of your household or immediate family because of family or domestic violence.


Requests have to:

  • be in writing
  • explain what changes are being asked for
  • explain the reasons for the request.


PLEASE NOTE: EVERYMAN CAN REFUSE REQUESTS ON REASONABLE BUSINESS GROUNDS.
