Golfing Membership - What does Membership provide?

Full Playing - Playing rights on all 7 days.

(Competition fees apply during competition times)


Weekday - Playing Rights on Monday to Friday only.


Intermediate, Intermediate I & II & Junior - Playing rights are the same as Full Playing. Age discounted fees.


Cadet / Tyro - Restricted playing rights

Members are not to play on days other than those days stipulated in their category. Members may invite a visitor to a Club competition only if the visitor is a member of an associated Golf Club and has a current G.A. handicap.


Note: Access to the course and practice facilities is limited to the days that a member has playing rights.

Joining Procedure

Upon receipt of your completed application form and payment of your membership subscription, you will be invited to a New Member’s Induction. Your membership application will be active on a provisional basis until approved at the monthly meeting of the Board of Directors of the Club, where it will either be approved or denied.


Annual Fee (12 Months incl. GST & Fees)


Full Playing - $2,600


Weekday - $2,400


Intermediate (30-35yrs) - $2,400


Intermediate I (24-29yrs) - $1,795


Intermediate II (18-23yrs) - $965


Junior - $480


Cadet / Tyro - $200


• Membership is for annual periods only.

• Prices as of July 2025 and include GST. This schedule is for reference only. Specific conditions for each category apply. Contact the office or General Manager for more detailed information.

• The subscription for Tyro, Cadet, Junior & Intermediate categories is set at a promotional rate and is not available in conjunction with any other promotion or incentive programme.


REQUIREMENTS BEFORE MEMBERSHIP IS APPROVED:

As per the declaration at the bottom of this form, every applicant’s full name and address is placed on the Club Notice Board, for a period of no less than 7 days, for viewing by existing Members. Applicants will be required to attend an induction prior to the Club fully approving the application for membership. An application may lapse if not taken up after two invitations to attend the induction.


AFTER MEMBERSHIP IS APPROVED:

Upon payment of the appropriate fee for membership you will need to visit the office at Muirfield Golf Club to be issued a photo membership card, then you can begin to enjoy the benefits of membership. Please remember to carry your membership card when at the Club.

Declaration

By submitting this form for membership of Muirfield Golf Club Limited and in so doing I agree to be bound by the Constitution and the By Laws of the club. I acknowledge that as part of the election to Membership process, and as listed under Clause 15.8 of the Club constitution, my full name and address will be placed on the Club Notice Board, for a period of not less than 7 days, for Members to view and advise management of any comments regarding my admission to the membership. I declare that I have read and understood the information regarding membership on the reverse of this form. The information supplied above is true and correct at time of application. I understand that the Club may reject any application for membership without providing any reason for such rejection. I acknowledge that for the purpose of the national handicap system, I permit the Club to release appropriate information relating to my membership at the Club.


I elect to receive the Club’s Annual Report in the medium decided by the club. Hard copies are able to be downloaded from the website. Please note that in making application for membership of the Club you acknowledge and accept that you will be subject to the Australian Handicapping System and your handicap may be reviewed in the absolute discretion of the Board.


Privacy: The Club endeavours to keep all membership data private. Your contact details (email & phone) are posted on our Club website in the Member Directory, which can only be seen by a Member who has logged into the site. Each Member has the option of making their details private on their membership account. If you wish to keep your details private, please change your settings on the website or contact the office to make the change.
