Leader Application 2025

Thank you for your interest in applying to be a leader with the CISV San Francisco Chapter for the 2025 travel season!


Before getting started, please review the following:

  • The application is broken down into 3 sections:

  • Leader Application
  1. You will need to upload a copy of your proof of identity, passport/drivers license.
  2. You can attach a copy of your CV/resume for additional consideration.                                             

               

  • Reference Information:      
  1. Two references are required.
  2. These references should be individuals who are either a current or recent employer, leaders in other voluntary organizations, or a local community representative in a position of trust and responsibility.
  3. One of the references, but not both can be from a CISV volunteer in a position of trust and responsibility, or a board or executive member.
  4. The references must have known you for a minimum of 1 year. They must not be family members. Ideally, at least one of the references should demonstrate the applicant’s previous experience working or volunteering with children
  5. References will be sent a form immediately upon submission.
  6. Please let them know to expect the email BEFORE putting their names down!
  7. They will be asked to complete an online form and set-up a 10 minute phone call regarding the reference.
  8. DUE DATE: January 15th, 2025 (For them to respond)


  • Emergency Contact Information and a brief health history will be required on the application.

If you have participated in Junior Branch (JB) events, mini camps, or traveled with CISV before, list those here.

Leadership and Cultural Experiences

This can include previous CISV experience, other multicultural organizations, or others from cultures other than your own.

Proof of Identity & Supplemental Materials

Please attach a copy of your passport photo page or drivers license/state identification card. This information will be used to send you a background check questionnaire for a criminal and driving records check.
