Thank you for your interest in South Coast AQMD's Why Healthy Air Matters (WHAM) Program!

This middle and high school air quality education program hopes to increase awareness of air quality issues within the South Coast Basin, and empower youth to drive positive change during a time when they are developing and forming their own habits. The program utilizes a Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)-aligned curriculum developed by South Coast AQMD.
