Honors

Please list the names of those to whom you wish to assign honors.

A) Aliyot

In addition to one aliyah for your child, your family will receive three aliyot to assign. These are generally the 5th, 6th, and 7th aliyot during the Torah service. Most families use one aliyah for the parent(s) of the Bat/Bar/B’nai Mitzvah.

You may assign one aliyah to multiple people (e.g. grandparents, or aunts and uncles). For people having an aliyah, please provide their full Hebrew name, which is their Hebrew name, ben (male), bat (female), mi-beit (gender neutral) and their parents’ Hebrew names.

For example:

(female) Rivkah bat Avraham v’ Chana

(male) Daniel ben Yona v’Sarah

(gender neutral) Tal mi’beit Moshe v’Shachar

If you don’t know their parents’ Hebrew names, please provide us with the parents’ English names.

Non-Jewish family or friends may be included in a group aliyah with Jewish family or friends.
