We are glad you have taken the initiative to explore the opportunities available in Student Government at Citrus College for the 2025-2026 academic year. Being involved in Student Government allows you to explore and develop your leadership skills and styles. You will gain experience working in a complex organizational structure with different personality types while developing your interpersonal communication skills. As a member of the ASCC Executive Board, you represent your fellow students’ interests in the decision-making processes that define college policies, procedures, and programs. You will also participate in planning, promoting, and executing large-scale events. Above all, Student Government is a place to become involved, develop public speaking skills, learn problem-solving strategies, and make new friends. You will find that your time on the ASCC Executive Board can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your college career if you make the most of it.
