Being involved in Student Government allows you to explore and develop your leadership skills and styles. You will gain experience working in a complex organizational structure with different personality types while developing your interpersonal communication skills. As a member of the ASCC Executive Board, you represent your fellow students’ interests in the decision-making processes that define college policies, procedures, and programs. You will also participate in planning, promoting, and executing large-scale events. Above all, Student Government is a place to become involved, develop public speaking skills, learn problem-solving strategies, and make new friends.
