POSITION DESCRIPTION In 2021, the International Road Assessment Programme (iRAP) has a number of global innovation projects in the area of road safety. iRAP is seeking a data analyst to support the delivery of these projects. The ideal candidate will have: The ideal candidate will have: - Demonstrated experience in: Understanding large datasets; data manipulation using programming languages such as R, Matlab, C/C++, Python; and data visualization using tools such as PowerBI, QuickSight, Tableau, Sisense. - A background in transport safety and/or mobility, with relevant tertiary qualifications. Familiarity with iRAP would be advantageous. - Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively work across multiple stakeholders. Experience working with international teams and time zones is an advantage. - Excellent communication and writing skills, including the ability to clearly synthesise ideas and produce a range of documents, such as summary reports, academic research papers and technical specifications. Demonstrated experience in writing peer reviewed academic journal articles is advantageous. - Excellent English language ability. - Good technological skills and ability to quickly pick up the use of new ones will be essential. The candidate will be required to work remotely in an entirely online work environment. As such, there is no requirement for where the candidate is located. However, flexibility to meet the time zones of project activities will be essential.
