IST Diplomats Application

Please submit this form to declare your interest in IST's student ambassador program, IST Diplomats. If selected, students will complete a training series to learn more about the college's services, grow interpersonal skills, and empower confidence as a leader. Diplomats serve and represent the college through collaborations with the Dean's Office, Faculty, Advising, Recruitment, Student Engagement, and more.


The IST Diplomats program provides students who embody the qualities of leadership, integrity, pride, inclusivity, and spirt, the opportunity to​ develop leadership techniques and professional communication skills through engaging with internal and external constituents and proudly representing the College of IST. ​


You must be available fall semester 2025 on Tuesdays 1:35-2:50 p.m. for the IST Diplomat Training Course to apply.


Deadline to apply is Sunday, March 23rd at 11:59 p.m.

Video Submission

As part of your application to the IST Diplomat program, we ask that you submit a short video (90 seconds or less) explaining why you want to be a Diplomat. This is your opportunity to showcase your enthusiasm for the College of IST and your passion for engaging with prospective students and the broader IST community.


Your video can be as simple as a selfie recording where you share your reasons for applying, or you can get creative—highlight something you love about your major, the College of IST, or a memorable experience that has shaped your journey. There’s no need for fancy editing; we just want to hear your authentic voice and see your enthusiasm!


Please ensure your video is clear, appropriate, and aligns with the professional expectations of an IST Diplomat.
