Marketing and Public Relations Requests

For your project to be successful, you will need to follow a few simple steps. The more complete and timely your information is, the better the outcome. Answer these questions: Who, What, When, Where, and How.

Use Comments to describe the services your are requesting. Eg: Photography, FaceBook posting, etc.

Please, provide complete content and details needed for your marketing promotion, such as event details, date, location, etc.

Draft documents, previous designs and reference materials, etc.

Please consult with Daniel Garza on your project to determine if a budget will be necessary. Please keep these deadlines in mind.

• Website/Banners/Social Media – at least two weeks prior to the event
• Videography & Photography – 15 days prior to the event
• Art for advertisements – 15 days before the deadline
• News Releases and Media Advisories – 15 days before the deadline

As the marketing and public relations department is part of the President’s Office, all requests will be reviewed by the President’s office. This system will help us keep track of all request as well as assure you that your request has been received.

This system will help track budget expenditures, avoid lost e-mail, and de-clutter our e-mail (especially Daniel’s) as well. :
