Eligibility Criteria and Pre-Screening

The following statements must apply to you or to all members of your group :

  • I formerly studied at Leeds Conservatoire and completed my studies in the academic year 2021/2022.
  • I am not currently studying at any other Higher Education Institution, conservatoire or educational provider.

Please note that if you receive an offer of funding and are unable to provide evidence when requested, funding offers may be withdrawn.

Eligible Activity

Prototype Development Photo/Video Production PR Campaigns Specialised Business Advice Studio Time Logo/Brand Development Course fees for online short courses Attendance at an online conference or seminar Online Mentoring – you should state who the mentor will be Any other reasonable requests not outlined above will be considered.

Ineligible Activity

Retrospective activity – i.e. for costs that have already been incurred/project activity that has already taken place Purchase of musical equipment or software Activities where the core beneficiaries are not Leeds Conservatoire graduates Audition fees for postgraduate studies at Leeds Conservatoire, or elsewhere Any further, higher or postgraduate qualification Activities which are not directly related to music, the performing arts, or the creative industries

Remember to provide enough detail for us to clearly understand your project. Think about including the following: rates, dates, timescales, who you will be working with and why, where the work will take place and the reasons behind your choices.

List up to five aims which give an insight into what you are aiming to achieve with the project. These need to be realistic and achievable, and you should be confident that they can be achieved in the time frame available.

This should tell us why you feel this opportunity will make a crucial difference to you at this particular point in your career. Think about what specific career goals you are working towards and how this project will help you achieve this.
