GENERAL NOTES:

  • Two-SAC backfill must cover the entire excavation and must be allowed to set for a minimum of 48 hours before placement of HMAC.
  • County Inspector must be notified 24 hours before cutting of County right-of-way, placement of backfill, two-SAC and/or HMAC by contacting the Inspection Division at (915) 273-3330.
  • Work must be performed between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding any County-recognized holidays. Work-zone traffic control shall be maintained at all times throughout duration of the project.
  • Full road closures shall require a minimum of a seven-day notice before work may proceed.
  • Permit is void if work is not started within 24 hours and completed within 72 hours of above scheduled dates.
  • Contact the Planning & Development Department if not able to comply with the above schedule.
  • Emergency road-cuts are subject to fees and inspection upon completion of work and shall be coordinated by requesting permit after cut has been made.
