POLICY - A 8.6 - Consent to Consume Liquor in or on a Council Property

Enter the time liquor consumption is proposed to commence.

Note: Approval can only be provided for a maximum of 8 hours.

Enter the time liquor consumption is proposed to cease.

Note: Consumption of alcohol must cease by 11:30pm.

Please provide an estimate of how many people will be attending your event. (e.g. 60 -70 people)

Is there food available at the event / function?*

Note: Review section 3 of the Shires Policy for further information on specifications/requirements.

Examples may include canteen snacks, takeaway foods, sausage sizzles, finger foods, grazing plates or similar.

Valid RSA certificate held*

This is a requirement for any persons responsible in the sale, service or supply of liquor. If liquor is intended to be sold, an Occasional Liquor Licence may also be required from the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor. More information can be found here.

Is there a designated enclosed area?*

Note: The designated area for consumption of alcohol at an event MUST be fully enclosed by a fence or other barrier approved by the Shire.
