Program Overview

The Dell Technologies Pro Bono Consulting Workshop is a virtual program that spans two, half-day sessions, and pairs teams of Dell Technologies experts with nonprofits to help them improve an approach, process, or tool that is core to their organization’s success. Nonprofits leave with a revised or new deliverable to increase their effectiveness.

This assessment will help us understand some of your organization's most pressing needs and how a team of pro bono consultants could potentially help address them. Please share as much information as you can to help us better understand the challenge. This information will help us understand your current needs and, if selected for the Pro Bono Consulting Workshop, match you with the right subject-matter experts from Dell. You are welcome to respond in bullet or paragraph form, and you will not be judged on grammar or spelling.

Highest Priority Opportunity

Below, we ask you to identify how targeted pro bono support from Dell Technologies employees could help your organization improve a process, approach, or tool. Please think about your organization's greatest opportunities for improvement in areas of technology, strategy, data analysis, operations, branding/marketing, communications, finance, and HR.

  • Technology (E.g. Our organization depends on in-person interactions to drive our services forward. How can we identify the right tools and resources to transition to remote work?)
  • Strategy (E.g. Our organization is developing a new program. How can we develop a business plan to ensure the program is implemented successfully?)
  • Data Analysis (E.g. We are looking to review an existing data collection system and receive recommendations for improvement.)
  • Operations or Process Improvement (E.g. As we transition to online services, we need to improve our client intake process.)
  • Brand/Marketing (E.g. We are looking to update our marketing collateral to reach a new audience.)
  • Communications (E.g. We need a digital communication strategy for our social media platforms.)
  • Finance (E.g. Given the uncertain economic situation, we are interested in improving our ability to forecast our revenue and adjust budgets accordingly.)
  • Human Resources (E.g. We are interested in developing specific HR policies related to virtual work.)
  • Other (please specify)

In 5-7 sentences, please outline the opportunity broadly. (E.g. "We are interested in improving how our organization tracks key financial metrics" or "We use an online portal to communicate with employees and volunteers and want to make it more effective" or "Our organization's cloud-based data storage platform is very disorganized, making it hard to manage and share information across the organization".)

E.g. "We have been using a spreadsheet that was created years ago, even though it doesn't quite meet the needs of our organization as it experiences a period of growth" or "We want to redesign our online forms to capture the information we need from participants" or "We want to redesign how the data is organized to make it more accessible and intuitive for employees looking for information on x topic."

Have you tried to address this opportunity in the past?*

Second Opportunity

Please share the second highest-priority opportunity your organization has in the next year that could be addressed through the Pro Bono Consulting Workshop. Again, consider your organization's greatest opportunities for improvement in areas of technology, strategy, data analysis, operations, human resources, branding/marketing, communications, and finance.

Would you like to submit a second opportunity that your organization has in the next few months that could be addressed through the Pro Bono Consulting Workshop?*
