Global Enhancements for your Class!

Are you looking for ways to weave some global perspectives into your course syllabus? Are you interested in adding an international speaker, new context and expertise to your student’s learning experience? The Division of Global Engagement can help you achieve this. DGE is committed to continuing to make the UO a more global university and as part of that effort, we’re excited to offer Global Enhancements for use in your classroom. How does it work? We facilitate an introduction between you and an interested faculty and/or professional from abroad who can speak to your students on a wide range of topics, at no charge. These visitors can provide a global perspective on a topic that the faculty and guest speaker have agreed upon. This can be as simple as a 10-minute Q & A session with students or something more formal like a presentation, or anything in between. We hope these brief engagements can complement existing UO courses and share our global connections. If you are interested in pursuing a Global Enhancement please complete the form below. We will identify potential visitors from your identified subject areas of interest, facilitate an introduction and then let you and the visitor take it from there.
