Thank you for your interest in hiring a photographer or videographer to capture your LMU event.

This request process is for general event coverage. This form does not accept requests for souvenir photography. Video coverage is limited to B-roll clips with no audio. If you are seeking custom photography or video outside of this scope, please complete our Photo and Video Project Request form.

Please note the following guidelines and standards for submitting your request:

• This form is the only way to request a photographer or videographer for LMU event coverage. We do not accept requests through email, Teams, voicemail, or in-person.

• Student intern requests are accepted, confirmed, and scheduled via email by our Photo and Video student production assistant. There is no-cost associated with hiring an LMU Photo and Video student intern.

• If you select the option to work with a professional freelancer, you will be referred to a list of LMU preferred freelance photographers and video producers. Freelancers are hired and managed directly by the requestor, who oversees all aspects of the assignment including project scope, communication, event logistics, asset delivery, and payment. LMU preferred freelancers are licensed, insured, and approved as university vendors in Workday.

• Due to the high volume of inquiries received from the LMU community, we require submissions ten business days prior to your event. In most cases, this lead time provides a window to discuss specific coverage needs and secure resources without rush charges.
