USAC Diversity & Inclusion Development (DID) Grant Application 2024-25


  • This application will request a description of your goals and objectives, timeline, and a comprehensive budget for a fall 2024 or spring 2025 project/activity/event.


  • Application period opens August 23, 2024 and closes March 14, 2025.


  • Early application is encouraged. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Awards will be distributed to selected projects until funds are exhausted.


  • Receipts and the reimbursement survey must be submitted two weeks after the conclusion of your project/activity/event or by April 11, 2025 at the latest to receive reimbursement

Section II: Proposal Details

Use these questions to describe your USAC co-branded DID project/activity/event. Please be sure to include project deliverables, objectives, and list resources/support needed to accomplish those objectives. Remember that the project/activity/event should be focused on increasing USAC enrollment and promoting our mission to increase access, inclusion, equity, and support for underrepresented student populations.

  • What event, project, or activity are you proposing?
  • What underrepresented students are you targeting? Why?
  • How many students in this identity group do you currently have enrolled with USAC for 2024-25 (if known)?
  • How is your proposal beneficial to your selected student group?
  • How is your proposal beneficial to you, your office/university?
  • How will you gauge/measure the impact of your proposed project?
  • How will this project have a lasting impact?
  • How will you share this information with USAC and colleagues?
  • Project/activity/event date (tentative is fine). Please note your summary is due to USAC within 2 weeks of the above-listed date.
  • What specific materials do you plan to create? (if any)
  • Do you plan to partner with other organizations on campus?
  • Anything else you would like to share about your proposal?

Section III: Budget

Anticipated grant awards will range from $500-$1,500 but may vary. Lower amounts under $500 are also available if sufficient for your proposed event. Cost-sharing is encouraged where possible, but not required. Receipts must be submitted by April 11, 2025 at the latest or it may not be possible for USAC to provide funds. If USAC provides funds before the project/activity/event date, any unused funds should be returned to USAC. Please list all anticipated expenses such as equipment (rental or purchased), printing, event supplies, etc.
