Fall 2023: Financial Aid Application

Qualified Households

The Zoological Society of Milwaukee would like to provide financial aid to qualified households that are one or more of the following:

- Low income (defined by DHHS as households whose incomes do not exceed 80 percent of the median household income in Milwaukee County).

- Households with unexpected expenses, experiencing unemployment or other hardship, and/or who without financial aid would be unable to afford programming for children.

- Households who are participating in a government benefits program.

Applications that are approved will be active through the end of this calendar year.

Financial Aid Topics & Seats

A select number of financial aid seats will be held in ALL of our Summer camp & class topics. Limited dates are available. Please visit our Classes & Camps page to view our brochure and browse available topics.

We will begin processing these applications after registration opens in late February/early March. While we reserve seats specifically for financial aid recipients, class registration is still based upon availability; application approval does not guarantee a spot. Once approved, it is beneficial to register as soon as you are able. You will be notified when you are able to register and provided with a brochure that details the dates of our financial aid programming.

Please Note: Financial aid seats will only be visible to applicants after they are approved. If you are looking at our website prior to applying, seats may appear sold out even if we still have financial aid seats reserved. Please do not pay full price - refunds will not be given.
