When performing a Wildfire Assessment on a property, we normally do so with respect to recommendations put forth by the Colorado State University and the Colorado Forest Service. We also use a holistic approach in relation to the property and the neighborhood.

Property Owner(s) does/do not need to be present for us to conduct the assessment as the assessment is done outside the home in the following areas:

-    Approach to the home [includes our access and ability to locate the home (premise identification visible day and night)]

-    0 – 5’ (cornerstone(s) of home/structure(s) out 5’)

-    5’ – 30’ from the home/structure(s)

-    30’ – 100’ from the home/structure(s)

Completing the written report is usually done offsite after the onsite inspection so it may take up to 48 hours from the time of inspection to receive the report via email.
