LLILAS Student Emergency Funding Request

This application is for LLILAS graduate students to apply for emergency funding. Funding is reserved for circumstances that negatively affect the quality of scholarship and/or prevent students from timely and effective completion of the degree.


We encourage students to also make use of the emergency services, resources, and funding available via UT Student Emergency Services: deanofstudents.utexas.edu/emergency.


Please do not submit sensitive records or personal medical information. In an emergency, call 911.


Students may self-nominate and requests will be evaluated by LLILAS staff and administration.


NOTE: Please review these Emergency Funding Guidelines before proceeding:


  1. Must be a current LLILAS student
  2. Must not have received emergency funds in two consecutive years.
  3. Must provide an itemized amount needed
  4. Must provide emergency justification statement
  5. Must provide proof of expenses that need to be paid. (i.e past due invoices, outstanding balances)
  6. Must provide a budget for current expenses.
