Welcome and thank you for your submission! This portal is for Electronic Commercial Plan Submissions only for Building & HVAC. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the City of Appleton Building Inspection Department 920-832-6411.

Before you get going, here are some important links to forms and GIS info to double check!

If you are in need of plan review application form paperwork -> Click here! If you do miss something on your submittal, we will make sure to reach out and ask for it along the way.

If you are unsure of if you are applying to the correct community, many times US Postal mailing addresses don't always align to the community boundaries. To make sure here is the GIS link so you can verify that you are applying to the correct community. If your project is located outside of the City of Appleton, then you will have to work with that community on what your process is to obtain plan review and approval.

Use the roof area for free standing canopies.

-If you are unsure as to what to list your project's level of Alteration is in accordance with the International Existing Building Code in the drop box below, please list Level 2 Alteration and we will verify during the course of review.

**Disproportionality Form Is Required**

It appears that your project is an alteration and/or addition to an existing project. Per IEBC 705.2 20% of the costs for the project will need to be demonstrated to go towards ADA accessibility for the facility and work area.

To demonstrate compliance please make sure to fill out and submit as part of your attachments below a Disproportionality worksheet.

Even if your structure is fully compliant, check the box on that sheet to state it is to that effect.
