Thank you for your interest in becoming a Maryland Mentor Corps Intern in the Fall 2025-Spring 2026 School Year!
The LCSL-Maryland Mentor Corps (MMC) Intern Program is designed to be a “higher order” undergraduate student experience. Interns will come into the internship at a developmental level ready to take on complex assignments/roles that require a deeper understanding of program design, curriculum development, peer education, learning outcomes, and the program and office vision.
The internship is a structured experience guided by ongoing mentorship, supervision, and feedback focused on the student’s learning through knowledge acquisition and experience. Maryland Mentor Corps Interns are paid positions that are vital to the success of the Maryland Mentor Corps Program. Serving as the MMC Intern is a year-long commitment and requires a significant amount of dedication in time and energy. MMC Interns will be expected to work an average of 8-10 hours per week. Interns will be paid hourly, working approximately 8-10 hours per week, at a rate determined by # of semesters the intern has been involved in MMC. If a student has Federal Work Study as part of their financial aid package, those funds will be used to pay the intern.
