Community Group/Organization Creation Form

WT faculty and staff may request a WTClass (Blackboard) Community Group (Organization) for campus-related activities.


Once created, the organization becomes the responsibility of the organization leader. This means that the leader will add members to the Community Group (Organization) roster.

Is this a new Community Group that has never been created before or a new iteration of a Community Group (new year, new semester, etc.)?

Allow at-will?

Users will be able to self-enroll in the course. Anyone with ta WTClass (Blackboard) account will e able to enroll and have access to the Community Group.


Password Required?

Using a password allows you to control who can elf-enroll in this Community Group. You provide the password to users and they can go to the Community Group, enter the password, and be added to the group automatically.


Email Leader of the Community Group for enrollment?

Giving users the option to email you to request access to the Community Group allows you to control who is added to the course, but will allow you to not have to locate all users that need access.
