The purpose of the AAP Member Advantage Programs is to provide value to the AAP membership through the provision of exclusive benefits and special offers on products and services. These benefits and special offers not only help our members in both their professional and personal lives, but also help to supplement the cost of important member services and programs. All vendors must submit the application below to be considered.
The AAP will review the applications and may schedule an introductory meeting. Upon approval, a formal contract must be submitted.

Nature of the Relationship
Acceptance by the AAP of an application for the Member Advantage Programs shall neither entitle the vendor to an exclusive arrangement with respect to any service or product offered by the vendor, nor constitute an endorsement of any service or product offered by the vendor.
Use of AAP Brand
Respect and abide by the AAP guidelines around use of the AAP brand, name, and likeness. The AAP name and logo should be followed in accordance with the contract terms and approved by the AAP in advance.
Extend Cost Saving Offering
A Member Advantage Program must be able to offer members exclusive discounts and savings that they cannot get through other methods. The AAP recognizes Member Advantage Programs provide the Academy with royalties based on sales. It's preferred that royalties are factored into the member savings when determining the discounts.
Additional Details
- Transactional sales reports should be provided monthly or quarterly.
- Enrollment should be seamless for members.
- Vendors will provide excellent customer support.
- Vendors must participate in a marketing and advertising plan.
- Any direct vendor marketing activities must be approved by the AAP.
