Pierce County Sustainable Resources is building a network of sustainability minded youth and young professionals in Pierce County who are interested in connecting with each other through events, volunteer opportunities and more. This is a monthly email that is sent out with event, volunteer, internship and job opportunities specific to high school students and recent graduates.

 

Fall Youth Summit – In partnership with EarthGen, this annual event is for middle and high school youth to learn, connect, and inspire climate action.

Climate Cafe– A space for high school students to engage in conversations about climate change.

Spring Youth Climate Festival – Students submit self-produced films, art, and spoken word based on climate impacts and improvements in Pierce County.

Community of Practice – Quarterly in-person and online meetings for organizations to build collaboration and connection around youth leadership.

Customized Workshops – We can come to you and build a customized workshop designed for your goals and interests.

 

ex. careers in climate, how to talk about climate change, learn about local climate change effects
