Three Sisters Gallery Artist Call 2023

The Three Sisters Gallery is reopening with a fresh season of exhibits: “Drawn Together” – A local artists’ showcase of visual art and storytelling exploring climate, culture and connectedness.

Eligibility Requirements


  • We encourage applications from: senior, mid-career, emerging and beginning artists.


  • We want to include all voices: Artists who identify as LGBTQ2+, non-binary artists, artists of colour, Indigenous artists, and or artists with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.


  • All Alberta artists are encouraged to apply; Preference will be given to artists who reside in the Bow Valley and surrounding Treaty 7 region and Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.

Show 1 - Climate Matters (Submissions due Feb. 15)

Climate Matters – The challenges of our climate crisis and the legacy we want to leave future generations

Exhibition Dates: (March 10– May 24)


*(Artists should have all artwork delivered March 6-8 2023)



Show 2 - Indigenous Perspectives (Submissions due April 10)

Indigenous Perspectives – Learning/Acknowledging and Sharing Indigenous wisdom

Exhibition dates: (June 1 – August 30)

*(exclusive to Indigenous artists)



Show 3 - In Our Nature (Submissions due July 10)

In Our Nature - Celebrating the beauty of culture, diversity, and inclusivity within our community

Exhibition dates: (September 1 – November 6)



Show 4 - Kinship (Submissions due Sept. 11)

Kinship – Exploring the webs and threads that connect us to our mountain home

Exhibition dates: (November 9 – January 31, 2024)
