This position is being offered as a six-month part-time contract with possibility of extension. POSITION DESCRIPTION In 2021, the International Road Assessment Programme (iRAP) has a number of global innovation projects in the area of road safety. iRAP is seeking a project coordinator to support the delivery of these projects. The ideal candidate will have: • Demonstrated experience in project planning, management and delivery. Your ability to be a self-starter, work independently and remotely will be essential. A background in transport safety and/or mobility, with relevant tertiary qualifications, is required. Familiarity with iRAP would be advantageous. • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively work across multiple stakeholders and organisations, from funders through to consultants Experience working with international teams and time zones is an advantage. • Excellent writing skills, including the ability to clearly synthesise ideas and produce a range of documents, such as project reports, academic research papers, funding proposals, website content, technical specifications and user guides. Demonstrated experience in writing peer reviewed academic journal articles is required. • Excellent English language ability. Other languages (particularly French and Spanish) would be advantageous. • Good technological skills (and ability to quickly pick up the use of new ones) required for website content management, project management, word processing, communications, etc., will be essential. The candidate will be required to work remotely in an entirely online work environment. As such, there is no requirement for where the candidate is located. However, flexibility to meet the time zones of project activities will be essential.
