Upon receipt of the application, County staff will evaluate the project's eligibility according in accordance with the Private to Public Dirt Road Improvement and Maintenance Program Policy.
If the requested roads are eligible, a list of the property owners will be sent to the applicant for signatures. The application is not considered complete until 100% owners' duly authorized signatures are submitted to the County. If the requested roads do not meet the eligibility criteria, the applicant will receive a Notice of Ineligibility via electronic mail (E-mail).

Key Eligibility Requirements

The project must be on private road that is continuous and contiguous to an existing publicly maintained right of way.
100% of the owners of the parcels benefitting from the requested project must sign the petition.
Any easements required for the road repaving shall be granted to the County free of charge and the owners, on behalf of themselves and their successors and assigns, shall, in a recordable form acceptable to the County, waive, release and discharge the County from any and all liability related to or arising out of the road repaving or use and enjoyment of the easements..
