Arnold Pickney East Professional Center Room Reservations Request Form

Thank you for considering the East Professional Center located at 1349 East 79th Street Cleveland, Ohio 44103 for your meeting needs.


This form is required for events needing more than one room and for events where more than 30 people will be present. Submission of this form does NOT confirm your reservation. Once the form is submitted, you will receive a response within 3-4 business days. You will receive an email from the Office of Professional Development mailbox with further details regarding your room reservation request.


Requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the meeting date.

Session Dates and Times

Please include time you will need for arrival, set up and clean up when you choose your time. The room must be clear at the end of your reservation time, as there may be another meeting starting immediately following yours. See examples below:

  • If the meeting goes from 9-3, but you plan to arrive at 8 to set up and you will need 30 minutes to clear the room, then you should request 8-3:30 for your reservation.
  • If you have a large set up that needs to be done the day before the meeting and the tear down will need to happen the day after the meeting, you should reserve the space for three days total, 24 hours each day, to allow for set up and tear down.

Note, if you will be using the conferencing/recording technology available in our three large rooms, we will schedule a training session with you ahead of your meeting date so that you know how to use the equipment.

 

 

Note Regarding Food

Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted during your meeting. Please indicate below if you will be serving food so that we can ensure there are extra trash cans on hand.


All food and related items must be thrown away/taken with you at the end of your meeting. There is likely another meeting immediately following yours, so you will need to make sure the space is ready for the next group. Leftover food cannot be placed in the Professional Development office, so you may want to consider bringing foil or to go bags if you anticipate having food left.


Please remember to include food set up and clean up time when choosing the start and end time of your meeting. If using a catering service, please be sure that any equipment they need to pick up will be picked up before the end of your room reservation time.
