Present at the 2025
Cengage Computing Experience
We’re now accepting presentation proposal submissions for the 2025 Cengage Computing Experience. Proposals are enthusiastically welcomed from higher education faculty, administrators and industry professionals in the Computing space.
Suggested Topics:
• The future of computing education—trends, challenges and opportunities
• Enhancing employability—bridging the gap between academia and industry
• Exploring emerging technologies for effective computing education
• Ethical considerations in teaching technology and computing
• Incorporating Large Language Models (LLMs) in computer science education
• Addressing non-technical objectives along with technical skills for the workplace
• Alternative methods for evaluating student understanding in computer science
• Advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning education
• Safeguarding cybersecurity and privacy in the digital age
• Using gamification to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Using CoPilot and other teaching tools
Sessions are 45 minutes, and they will be held October 29-31 in Kansas City, MO. You can conduct your session individually, with a co-presenter or as a panel discussion.
If your proposal is accepted, Cengage will cover one conference registration fee including two nights’ hotel and airfare for one presenter. Please note that if there are multiple presenters, the presenter team will need to decide among themselves how they will split the complimentary registration fee and the complimentary airfare.
Proposals are due by the end of the day on May 5, 2025. Speakers will be contacted by May 15, 2025, on the status of their submission.
