Confidentiality Agreement Acknowledgement*

Alumni and donor records, both hard-copy and electronic, and other alumni/donor information are highly confidential and protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and invoked by the Clemson University Board of Trustees, by the Clemson University Alumni Association’s Confidentiality Statement and by the Code of Conduct of the Clemson University Foundation. I will maintain in strictest confidence all of the Confidential Information to which I have access. I acknowledge the sensitive and confidential nature of information concerning Clemson employees, students, alumni, donors, vendors, and other members of the Clemson community. I understand and agree that this information may only be disclosed with proper authorization and in the exercise of my designated duties. I will share information with Clemson employees only on a strict need-to-know basis, and I will exercise reasonable care in how it is shared. I will not share personal or otherwise Confidential Information with individuals who are not authorized to access such information. Data will be provided for a one-time use.
