We’re excited to offer you a unique opportunity to enhance your neonatal care skills!

Thanks to a generous grant from the CT Health Care Coalition and in partnership with CT EMS-C, Connecticut Children's is providing FREE Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) training for 60 paramedics working in Connecticut. This course will help you improve your ability to manage neonatal resuscitation in emergency situations, and upon completion, you’ll earn 12 CAPCE credits and a 2-year NRP certification.

Who’s Eligible?

This course is open to 12 Connecticut paramedics for each EMS regions in Connecticut. Choose the class location/date associated with the region you work.

Funding:

Sponsored by the CT Health Care Coalition, this training is fully funded, meaning there is no cost to you.

Training Format:

The course follows a blended learning approach with two parts: online & in-person.

Online Learning (Part 1):

Complete several hours of online education, testing and case-based simulations developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association.

In-Person Simulation (Part 2):

Attend a 5-hour, hands-on session with in-person paramedic based scenarios led by neonatal resuscitation experts from Connecticut Children's.
