Transit Center Department Permit Request Form
Daily Scratch-Off Permits
- These permits are for Guests/Visitors of your Department. The Department may not purchase these permits for use by Boise State Students, Faculty, or Staff.
- These permits are for single-day use (6AM to Midnight)
- These permits allow parking access to any Garage, Reserve or Commuter Lot.
- These permits are $17 each
- Purchasing a bundle of five permits, comes with a free additional permit.
Department Special Permit (D3 Permit)
- This permit must be accompanied by a current Boise State Garage, Reserve, or Commuter Permit.
- This permit allows parking outside of your permit zone in Garages, Reserve Lots, Commuter Lots, and Pay Lots for up to a maximum of 3 hours at a cost of $244 for the fiscal year.
- This permit can be processed for a specific employee or for shared-use with a department.
Designated Reserve Parking
- This permit reserves a specifically-assigned stall for a designated employee or for department use.
- If processed for department-use (Visitor/Guest Stalls or Department Vehicle), cost is $1,014.00 to the department.
- If processed for a specific person, cost is split between employee at $494.00 and department at $520.00.
Visitor Permits
- These permits are not valid for Students, Faculty, or Staff.
- These are for Visitors that are being compensated for their time at the university.
- These permits have Short-Term and Long-Term Options
- Short-Term permits are for one individual, not a shared-use permit.
- Short-Term permits are completely virtual, linked to a license plate number.
- Short-Term permits are for single-day uses. (Multiple days can be requested on the form)
- Long-Term permits can be for either a specific individual or for shared-use.
- Long-Term permits are a physical hanging placard permit.
- Long-Term permits are valid up to the end of the Fiscal Year.
Short-Term Visitor Permits Cost and Location Info
- Type A – Reserve and Commuter Lots ($17 per day)
- Type B – Garages, Reserve Lots, Commuter Lots, and Pay Lots. ($22 per day)
Long-Term Visitor Permits Cost and Location Info
- Type 1 – Commuter Lots ($72 per year)
- Type 2 – Reserve and Commuter Lots ($144 per year)
- Type 3 – Garages, Reserve Lots, Commuter Lots, and Pay Lots. ($180 per year)
Volunteer Permits
- These permits are processed at no charge, but are only for patrons not being compensated by the University or their place of business in any way for their time here.
- These permits are for short-term use.
- These permits are valid for one individual, not a shared-use permit.
- These permits are completely virtual, linked to a license plate number.
- These permit will only allow access in a specific zone on campus based on the location requested and available space.
