GSSNV Grievance Form
Conflict is a natural part our world but there are appropriate and respectful ways of handling conflict when it arises.
The most effective way to resolve conflict is by calm and open discussion between the persons involved. A problem-solving tone should be adopted and the parties involved should abide by the principles of the Girl Scout Promise and Law during these discussions.
If a solution is not resolved, the next step is for one or both or all individuals to reach out to their local service unit team for assistance.
To be in compliance with the Conflict Resolution policies as stated in Volunteer Essentials, before submitting this form the parties involved should take the following steps:
- The parties involved speak directly, in person, with the desire to resolve the issue
- The parties involved speak with the troop leaders if they are not a part of this conflict.
- The parties involved speak with the Service Unit Manager or Service Unit Mentor if the Service Unit Team Members is not a party to the conflict.
If the conflict is not resolved after consulting with a Service Unit Team Member, please submit this form.
A member of the GSSNV Membership Department will research the issue and reach out within 10 business days.
