Credential Request
We are pleased to offer media credentials for approved journalists, photographers (amateur and professional), and other media representatives covering our athletic events. To apply for media credentials, please complete the form below. Please note that completing this form does not guarantee credentials will be approved.
Important Disclaimers and Guidelines
By applying for and accepting a media credential, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Credential Issuance and Verification Process
Once your application is approved, you will need to come to The John Carroll School to have your driver’s license scanned through our system. Afterward, you will be provided with your credentials for display. Please note that approved credentials are issued on a seasonal basis.
Credential Use
Media credentials are non-transferable and are to be used solely by the individual named on the credential. Unauthorized use of a credential may result in revocation of all media privileges.
Access Rights
Credentials provide access to designated areas only. Media representatives must adhere to all access restrictions and remain within permitted zones during events.
Code of Conduct
All credentialed media members are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. Any behavior deemed disruptive or inappropriate may lead to the immediate withdrawal of media access.
Photography and Videography
Media representatives are permitted to capture images and video for editorial use only. Commercial use of any content without prior written consent from The John Carroll School is strictly prohibited. Those granted credentialed access must submit 10–15 photos to The John Carroll School at news@johncarroll.org for future commercial use. The sale of photographs to students, parents, or fans is not permitted unless expressly approved in writing by The John Carroll School. Photographers may, however, provide services to capture images of specific players if directly contracted by a parent. Such arrangements are considered private agreements and do not authorize the resale or distribution of images to others.
Game-Day Procedures
Credentials must be visibly worn at all times while on school property.
Student Interaction Policy
Media personnel must obtain prior permission from The John Carroll School before engaging with students.
Liability Disclaimer
The John Carroll School is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment or personal items. Media personnel assume all risks associated with covering our events.
Revocation of Credentials
The John Carroll School reserves the right to revoke or deny media credentials at its discretion at any time, for any reason.
