If you have multiple units that are at the same physical address with the same rent and deposits you can list them on one property. Example 1234 Broadway, Units A, B, and C Columbia, MO 65202. Memo of Understanding

General Conditions:

  • This program is only available to landlords taking Housing Choice Vouchers from Functional Zero Task Force Coordinated Entry Process.
  • Funds are subject to available funding at the time of the request.
  • Property owner/manager will ensure properties are well maintained.
  • Property owner/manager agrees to notify the program provider if the tenant vacates or is evicted from the residence within the first 12 months of the tenancy, even if no assistance is requested.
  • Property owner/manager agrees to submit a request for funds, with all required documentation if repairs or damages exceed the security deposit, within 30 calendar days of the date when the tenant vacates the residence.
  • Property owner/manager agrees to comply with all laws, regulations, and guidelines under the program, including, but not limited to program-specific requirements, public policy for protecting civil rights, government-wide administrative mandates affecting the landlord’s accounting and record-keeping systems, and any rules, regulations or guidelines imposed by the program.
  • Property owner/manager agrees to the non-revocable rights to inspect the residence identified in the agreement by the program upon reasonable notice for the purposes of verification of repair or damage expenses requested.
  • Termination of the agreement may occur with written notice from the program or upon written request from the property owner/manager.
  • Participating in this program is not a binding commitment to leas to all potential vouchered tenants.
  • The program shall not be liable to any of the parties of the agreement or to other persons for directing that such agreement be terminated.
  • Property owner/manager waives all rights to make claims against FLO, the grant administrator.


Signing Bonuses:

  • Property owner/manager taking a housing voucher may receive a $500 bonus 30 days after the tenant's move-in date and verification of the move-in date.


Repairs or Damages:

  • Property owner/manager taking housing vouchers may receive up to $1,000 towards repairs or damages after a tenant vacates the residence.
  • Property owner/manager will apply the security deposit before requesting funds.
  • Repairs and damages must be above and beyond normal wear and tear
  • Funds are only valid for damages that occurred during f the tenant's first two years of tenancy.
  • Only those costs allowable by the program will be reimbursed.
  •  Property owner/manager agrees not to recoup any costs paid by the program from the tenant or any other third party, such as insurance.
  • Property owner/manager will be asked to provide: Executed Original Term Rental Lease, Move-In and/or Out Report Signed by Landlord and Tenant, Tenant Ledger Showing Security Deposit, Photos of Damages - before and after, and Invoice(s) for Repairs.
 
 

The property owner/manager has read the Enrollment Form. By signing this form and submitting it, the Property owner/manager understands the expectations and agrees to make full faith efforts to comply.
