SLS Deal Registration Program & Form
ELIGIBILITY AND ENROLLMENT
The SLS Deal Registration Program is available to all SLS Resellers worldwide. Only authorized SLS Resellers will be allowed to submit Deal Registrations.
Approval for each Deal Registration submission will be based on eligibility per this program terms and conditions, and priority of submission in time. SLS will only approve one Deal Registration for any given Opportunity, where Opportunity is defined as the SLS product line(s) required to address the customer requirements outlined in the registration.
Each Deal Registration submitted by Reseller must be for a bona fide Opportunity with a verified end-user, not a sale to another reseller, system integrator, consulting firm or consultant. If you fail to abide by the foregoing, SLS may, at its discretion, revoke your authorization to participate in the Deal Registration Program and/or terminate your access to the SLS Partner Portal. Before submitting a Deal Registration for an Opportunity, Reseller must make substantial pre-sales efforts related to the Opportunity by working with the prospective Customer, such as helping the Customer quantify the project budget for Products, helping the Customer define project requirements necessary for acquiring Products, meeting with the appropriate decision-makers and leading the Opportunity with Products. Resellers will be required to provide a description of such efforts, including proof of date and time, upon request by SLS.
Approved Deal Registration for any Opportunity is non-transferable by Reseller.
Approved Deal Registrations are valid for six (6) months. Resellers will have the ability to request extensions for an additional six (6) months if necessary. Reseller must request an extension (including the reason for the extension), and the extension must be approved by SLS, prior to expiration of the Deal Registration for the Deal Registration to be extended.
SLS will provide e-mail notification to Reseller of any approval or rejection of a submitted Deal Registration, or extension of a Deal Registration.
Each Opportunity must represent a single, new opportunity with a single prospective Customer. Reseller may not combine Opportunities or Customer accounts for any purpose.
In order to maintain any approved Deal Registration, Reseller must not be in breach of any terms and conditions of this Agreement or be on credit hold with Reseller’s authorized SLS Distributor. A breach or placement under credit hold will entitle SLS to immediately suspend or exclude Reseller from being an authorized Reseller and/or revoke any Deal Registration submission or approval.
Reseller must provide SLS, upon request, a status update on any activity with respect to a submitted or approved Deal Registration.
ELIGIBLE OPPORTUNITY REGISTRATION.
To secure the benefits of the SLS Deal Registration Program, Reseller must provide in full the following information regarding the prospective Customer (“Company”) for an Opportunity at the time of registration submission:
Company name (completely spelled out, e.g., no acronyms);
Company contact name (completely spelled out, e.g., no initials);
Valid direct telephone number or main number with contact extension;
Contact email address using Company domain (e-mail addresses from Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc. will not be accepted);
Company address for the location to which the product will be shipped (registrations of the procurement office or otherwise will not be accepted); and
The full name of the decision maker and buyer (if applicable).
Description of the application, including any details as to pilot and installation location(s).
SLS’s RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
SLS reserves for itself the rights to:
Request additional information from Reseller to validate any Deal Registration submitted by Reseller.
At any time and in any manner, change, withdraw or alter the Deal Registration process or any benefit thereunder or eligibility requirements.
Contact any Customer or Opportunity at any time with respect to Products.
Exclude any Reseller from participating in the SLS Deal Registration Program that SLS deems does not meet any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement or whose conduct violates the spirit of the SLS Reseller Program or Deal Registration.
Disqualify, Deal Registration approvals or submissions that, in SLS’s sole discretion, fails to comply with the applicable terms and conditions.
Validate any information supplied by Reseller, in whatever means SLS deems reasonably necessary.
Reject or cancel a Deal Registration for a reseller that positions 3rd party hardware in place of SLS branded hardware. Positioning of 3rd party hardware is also grounds for termination of access to the Partner Portal.
In cases where SLS provided the deal lead, SLS can reassign the Deal Registration to another Reseller if the prospective Customer for an Opportunity provides a written statement that they have no intention to purchase from a Reseller who holds the current deal registration for that Opportunity and a reasonable attempt has been made by SLS to mediate the issues between end-user and partner holding the deal registration.
Submission of this form is confirmation of understanding of the above outlined terms.
