This Hot Work Permit is required for any operation involving open flame or producing heat, and/or sparks. This work includes, but is not limited to, welding, brazing, cutting, grinding, soldering, thawing pipe, torch-applied roofing, or chemical welding. This permit requires 3 business days notice for processing. If this is an emergency, please submit this form and call the Fire Marshal's Office at 916-734-1223.
