Roots 2025 Volunteer Form

This is the application form for Small Group Leaders and Security Volunteers.

Roots 2025 General Information

Dates: Monday, July 28, 2025 - Thursday, July 31, 2025.

Location: Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington, Illinois

Theme: Rooted in the Truth of God

Volunteer Cost: $100

All volunteers are required to attend both a Training Meeting and an All-Staff Meeting via Zoom in July to prepare for the retreat. Final meeting dates will be confirmed via email.

Please note that volunteer positions are limited and applicants will be selected based on the needs of the retreat.

Background Check Requirement:

In line with our commitment to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants, all adults serving the youth at this year's retreat are required to complete a background check. This includes volunteers (chaperones), leaders (small group leaders, security, praise team), and staff (admin) who will be interacting with the youth throughout the event. To ensure transparency, we are currently exploring the best options for the process and aim to make it as seamless as possible. Stay tuned for detailed instructions coming soon!
