Faculty Coordinator Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in serving as a faculty coordinator. Please complete the information below to be considered for appointment by the Academic Senate. Please keep in mind:


  • Coordinator appointments are for two academic years unless filling a vacancy due to an incomplete term.
  • If the coordinator position you are applying for includes serving as co/tri-chair of a council/committee/workgroup please check the Academic Senate website for meeting days and times before applying to ensure your availability.
  • Duties and responsibilities for most coordinator positions can be found in Appendix E and/or in the Academic Senate Constitution Bylaws.
  • Positions with allocated LHE have the number of LHE indicated in the contract.
  • You may apply for more than one position at once (click all that apply)
  • Please provide information about why you believe you are a good fit for the position/s you are applying to and what expertise and insights you can contribute.


The senate leadership team reviews submissions regularly and fills positions on an ongoing basis. Thank you for contributing to our shared governance and offering your expertise. Should you have questions please feel free to reach out to your senate leadership team.


Vacancies are announced regularly at academic senate meetings and through email communication by your senate president. Please also ask your department’s senate representative.
