The Art of Valuation

This book will offer reflections, papers and case studies that will demonstrate how the power of thought and judgment can produce great work in the business valuation profession and include valuation strategies, reasons to take a specific approach in a valuation problem, and other advice that will help other professionals become masters of valuation.

We are looking for topics that showcase the use of the appraiser’s unique skill set, i.e., that demonstrate the power of these skills and the value they bring to clients. Topics that provide the nuances of successful work – tips and tactics, “secret sauces,” ways of thinking about valuation problems or challenges, and so forth. We are not looking for technical papers.
