Professional Development Funding Request

You should receive feedback on your request within 1-2 weeks of submitting this form. If approved to submit a full application, you will be asked to provide:

  • Your CV/resume
  • A budget including both how and when the money will be spent
  • A letter of support from division head or supervisor describing how this request aligns with the requestor’s career path

NOTE: Funding for professional development grants is contingent on the applicant providing evidence that this will improve educational initiatives within our department. Please explain how this request could have the potential to improve education within our department by enhancing an existing program or building a new program.


If your request does not fit the criteria, consider applying for Academic Discretionary Funds.
