4 X 100 Unified Relay - High Schools Only

We are so excited to provide another OSSAA State Championship. This time in Track!

4X100 Unified Relay is with 2 athletes (individuals with intellectual disabilities) and 2 Unified Partners (individuals without intellectual disabilities) competing together for the best time in a 4X100 Relay!

In a 4X100 there are 4 legs to the race. Your time will be from the start of the first leg to the last leg running through the finish line. You can arrange your relay team how ever you want. We are able to take 16 relay teams to state. Friday will be the semi finals running 2 heats of 8, an East side and a West side. Saturday will be the finals 1 heat of 8 (consisting of the 8 fastest times from both heats in the semi's).

How to compete: You will register for your area track meet under the OSSAA Unified Relay. At every track meet they will keep every unified relay teams time. The relay team with fastest time in each area will qualify for State. With that being said, we have 14 areas. Meaning we will at least have 2 extra spots. When we receive every areas scores we will take the next two fastest times in the state. We will call the coach to inform of the qualified team. In track at state they give medals to the top 6 relay teams.

When you compete in the OSSAA Unified Relay you are committing to attending the OSSAA State Championships held the first week of May. So please do not register if you cannot attend the state championship.
