ASAD 2023: Expression of Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in the Academy for Student Athlete Development (ASAD).

Abilities Centre's Academy for Student Athlete Development (ASAD) program removes barriers and creates equitable access for student athletes on able-bodied, Para Sport and Special Olympic pathways to unlock their potential in athletics, academics and life.

ASAD provides targeted athletic and academic support in a high performance daily training environment to student athletes as they strive to achieve success at provincial, national & international levels of competition.

The athletic program is designed and implemented in partnership with

provincial & national sports organizations to ensure alignment to Long

Term Athlete Development principles as well as effective periodization.

The academic component of ASAD is delivered in partnership with the local school board where student-athletes earn academic credit for their sport specific training.
