Thank you for your interest in the receiving your Active Learning Certificate by demonstrating expertise. For information on this process, visit the Active Learning Certificate page of the CFE website.

In order to submit your application form, you must download the Active Learning Certificate Demonstrated Expertise Application Template from the Active Learning Certificate page of the CFE website and complete the application form. Upload the application in the area below labeled "Application Form File Upload."

After completing the application, you will be contacted by the CFE Director to discuss your application.

Only adjunct/part-time faculty and full-time faculty (QRF or TTF) may apply to receive their Active Learning Certificate by demonstrating expertise. Graduate student instructors, graduate students, and staff (administrative and classified) may earn their Active Learning Certificate through the Active Learning Certificate Program Course. If you already have your Active Learning Certificate, you do not need to complete the application or any additional training to be pre-assigned to an active learning classroom.
