SOLIDWORKS for Startups Application

SOLIDWORKS for Startups program (formerly known as 3DEXPERIENCE Works for Startups program) is for early- to mid-stage hardware startups.


To qualify for the Startup (Early-stage) program, your company must meet the following acceptance criteria. Your Company must be:


  • Designing and building a physical product with an aim to sell it in the market
  • Less than $1M in revenue
  • Not more than 5 years old


Your company's funding status and the nature of your business and product will be taken into consideration while evaluating your application. If your company has between $1M and $5M USD in Funding or Revenue, you will qualify for the Scale-Up program, which will give access to the suite of SOLIDWORKS roles at heavily discounted prices. Please note that even for the Scale-Up program, you need to be under 5 years of age as a company.


Each application is carefully evaluated prior to approval. SOLIDWORKS reserves the right to deny your application for any reason and to withdraw your access to the Startup program at any point, with prior notice.


IMPORTANT: We do not accept engineering/ design firms, service providers, resellers, contract manufacturers, consulting companies in the program.


SOLIDWORKS reserves the right at any time during the term to revoke access of the Entrepreneur entitlement by providing notice to you if we find that the information in your application is not true.
