Special Education Teacher Pipeline Program

Sourcewell has been awarded grant funding from the Minnesota Department of Education to develop a pipeline of trained, licensed Tier 3 and Tier 4 special education teachers. The state is committed to removing financial and programmatic barriers to obtain these licenses.

I am aware of and agree to the expectations for participating in this program (listed below)

Demonstrate a willingness to be a Special Education teacher in the Sourcewell service area after completing the program
Submit an application to selected university for licensure program
Complete FAFSA
Identify Sourcewell on FERPA as third-party designee
Make reasonable academic progress toward degree attainment and licensure in order to continue to receive scholarships
Remain employed by a school district in the Sourcewell service area while pursuing licensure
